Prompt Proofing Blog Post: Goal Setting - Part 2 of 4
This week we're going to think about two more categories in goal setting: relationships and spirituality.

VANCOUVER, BC, February 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- (If you didn't catch Part 1, please check back to last week's post: http://www.24-7pressrelease.com/press-release/prompt-proofing-blog-po ... 196406.php.)

This week we're going to think about two more categories: relationships and spirituality.

Both of these categories may have multiple meanings, depending on your situation.

3) Relationships

What do you think of when you read this word? Romantic relationships? With Valentine's Day having just passed, this may well be the first idea that we associate with this word. But there are many kinds of relationships; relationships with your children, parents, or siblings; with friends, or work colleagues. Remember, your goals are just that - your goals. Not your friend's, not your co-worker's, yours. Your vision board whould reflect any relationships that are important to you; relationships you have right now that you may wish to work on, or potential relationships you would like to have in the future. Take time to think about it and note down your goals in this area. As always, try to have goals that may be realistic and achievable in the short term, but don't be afraid to 'shoot for the moon' and put that idealized, perfect relationship down there too; you just need to think how you intend to make it happen. What will you put into action to help you reach your goal?

4) Spirituality

This does not have to mean religion, though of course, for many, it may well do. However, even those who do not follow any traditional religion usually find that there is space or need for some aspects of spirituality in their lives. I would go out on a limb and suggest that spirituality, in some shape or form, is essential to a balanced life. Perhaps yoga is your 'thing' or maybe you are inspired by the wonders of the natural world and like to commune with nature. Think about what spirituality means to you, then ask yourself what your goals are in this area. What is it that you find inspirational? What is it that you would like to change or develop in this area?

By now you should have some idea of your goals in four areas of your life: health, wealth, relationships and spirituality. Check back next week for charity and experiences!
